In Memory of Loran Wlodarski

It is with heavy heart that we share news of the passing of one our dearest volunteers of Back to Nature. Loran was a member of BTN’s family for 4 years and dedicated over 1000 hours. He was a friend to everyone; human, furry, and feathered. He worked for Sea World for over 3 decades and shared his passion for BTN and all animals, with his co-workers. Back to Nature and friends of Sea World have come together to celebrate Loran’s life by hosting a Life Celebration on Saturday, February 9th, from 11am-3pm. A remembrance service will begin at 1:30pm.

From Loran’s friends/family at Sea world, this is their tribute to him:

In celebration of the life of our dear Loran Wlodarski – father, brother, nephew, and friend – we encourage you to consider a donation in support of Back to Nature. This organization and the good work it does on behalf of wildlife meant a tremendous amount to Loran. We’re certain he would be pleased that your financial contribution will help this dedicated community serving wildlife in need continue to do the work which meant so much to him.

We knew Loran as a selfless giver. How appropriate, then, for us to remember, celebrate, and honor him through supporting Back to Nature. It gave Loran so many things dear to him – purpose, wonder, beauty, service, and even a bit of mischief. We encourage each of us to take this opportunity to give in memory of the most compassionate, tireless, humble, dedicated, and decent human being we’ve ever been blessed to know…Loran Wlodarski.

If you would like to donate to Loran’s memory, we request that you note in the donation section “In Memory of Loran Wlodarski”.Thank you.
