WILDLIFE INTAKE HOURS & DROP OFF CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

WILDLIFE INTAKE UPDATE: To minimize interaction with our staff and citizens dropping off wildlife, we are accepting intakes by call ahead only. Our intake hours have now changed to :

10AM-11AM and 3PM-4PM

You will be instructed to call when you arrive and we will come to the main gate for pick up. (BTN accepts Florida native injured and orphaned wildlife.)

You will be asked for your drop off information ahead of time to avoid filling out paperwork.

*Please DO NOT TOUCH the animal or touch ANY contents the animal may come in contact with. You will be instructed to call animal services for pick up and transfer to the refuge if you are sick or have tested positive for Covid-19. Please understand that we must take all necessary precautions during this time so that we can continue to help injured and (truly) orphaned wildlife. Donations can be made through our website:
